I fly

On wings outstretched

To the sky
Feathers blowing upon the clouds

As a child’s breath against a candle
Gente, soft, but with a purpose

To bring me higher
Towards the melting sky

I have borrowed Icarus’ wings
Only I will not fall this time

My wit is stronger
I will reach the bright blue sky

The great expanse will take me in
So high, no one can see me

From below, I am the sky
This is what I wish to be.
